The philosophy of the Madison Preparatory Academy is based on the belief that a student’s education is nurtured through the quality and character of the relationship between home and school. We at Madison Prep are eager to combine the educational forces of home, school, and community to enhance opportunities for all students.

The mission of Madison Preparatory Academy is to provide a highly diverse project based learning environment designed to meet the academic and social needs of all students irrespective of their learning styles or academic abilities.  This will be accomplished in a safe and nurturing school environment where each student will receive a comprehensive education that will not only enable him/her to succeed in post-secondary education but also in life.  The school will foster a positive, supportive culture where students are valued, motivated, and posses a sense of belonging.  This non-traditional high school, serving students in grades 9 through 12, will catalyze a rigorous, personalized curriculum that combines demanding traditional academic work with real-world experiential and inquiry-driven learning.
